Olimb sells 51% of its shares to Aarsleff
The brothers Tor-Erik and Oystein Olimb have today entered into an agreement with Per Aarsleff Holding A/S to sell 51% of Olimb’s pipe renewal activities. The acquisition is part of a natural generational change, and the focus is to maintain Olimb’s strong values and the ambition to have a leading position in Norway within trenchless pipe renewal.
Tor-Erik says: ”Based on our knowledge of Aarsleff, this is an optimum solution to ensure Olimb’s continued development and growth. At the same time, it is a good solution for the employees.”
”Our two companies’ activities and focus on utility companies as well as private and industrial customers are very similar. Olimb has a good reputation and a strong culture supported by 100 skilled employees with long seniorities. The market opportunities in Norway are good, and we look forward to being a part of the future development together with Olimb”, says Ebbe Malte Iversen, general manager of Per Aarsleff Holding A/S.
Aarsleff and Olimb have previously worked together, and since the 1970’s both companies have contributed to the technological development within trenchless pipe renewal. With Olimb as part of the Aarsleff Group, we can offer the Norwegian market state-of-the-art technologies, environmentally-friendly methods and innovative forms of collaboration which are predominant in Northern Europe.
Olimb will continue to operate under its own name and with its current management.
